The fourth stop on the South America tour for the Panama Diamond Exchange roadshow was Santiago, the capital of Chile. The PDE delegation visited the city from July 27 to 29, with a B2B networking event being held on on June 28.
PANAMA DIAMOND EXCHANGE ROADSHOW VISITS ECUADOR (JULY 2015)
The third stop on the South America tour for the Panama Diamond Exchange roadshow was Guayaquil, the largest city and financial center of the Republic of Ecuador. The PDE delegation visited the city from July 13 to 15, with a B2B networking event being held on on June 14.
WORLD JEWELRY HUB CHAIRMAN MEETS WITH PANAMA’S VICE PRESIDENT AND FOREIGN MINISTER (JULY 2015)
WJH Chairman Eli Izhakoff met with Isabel Saint Malo de Alvarado, Vice President and Foreign Minister of the Republic of Panama, in her official chambers. He updated her about progress at the World Jewelry Hub, and she reiterated the support of her offices and the government for the program to establish the primary Latin American gemstone and jewelry center in Panama City.
PANAMA DIAMOND EXCHANGE ROADSHOW VISITS COLOMBIA (JULY 2015)
A delegation of members of the Panama Diamond Exchange visited the Colombian capital of Bogotá from July 6 to 8. The visit included a standing room only B2B networking event on June 7 , at which the PDE delegation and members of the Colombian jewelry trade met and developed business relationships.
PANAMA DIAMOND EXCHANGE ROADSHOW VISITS PERU (JUNE 2015)
A delegation of members of the Panama Diamond Exchange visited the Peruvian capital of Lima, during which its members met and networked with the country’s leading jewelry retailers. The Peru roadshow kicked off in downtown Lima on June 22, with an early morning introduction to the World Jewelry Hub for the Peruvian trade.
GRAND OPENING OF WORLD JEWELRY HUB AND PANAMA DIAMOND EXCHANGE (APRIL 2015)
The World Jewelry Hub (WJH), the first dedicated diamond, colored gemstone and jewelry trading center in Latin America, was officially inaugurated in the presence of Panama’s head of state, President Juan Carlos Varela.
THE FIRST LATIN AMERICAN DIAMOND AND JEWELLERY WEEK (APRIL 2015)
Buyers from 17 countries in Latin America flew to Panama for the first Latin American Diamond and Jewelry Week, which was held in the offices and on the trading floor of of the Panama Diamond Exchange. The suppliers, representing a cross-section of the international diamond and jewelry industry, were all members of the Panama Diamond Exchange.

PANAMA GEM & JEWELRY LAUNCH EVENT, MARCH 16-18, 2014
The Panama Gem and Jewelry Center, Latin America’s only dedicated diamond, colored gemstone and jewelry center trade center, was launched during a two day event, attended by the Panamanian president and other officials, and leaders of the gemstone and jewelry trade from around the world.
