MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the World Jewelry & Diamond Hub, Panama, is to promote the interests of the diamond, colored gemstone, pearls, precious metals, jewelry and related industries, particularly in regions of Central America, South America and the Caribbean Basin, by:
- Providing a functioning and recognized diamond, gemstone and jewelry exchange where dealers may meet and conduct business.
- Providing a trading environment that brings together members of the diamond, colored gemstone, pearls, precious metals, jewelry and related industries from across Latin America with their counterparts from other parts of the world.
- Creating a business environment regulated by statutes that promote fair and transparent trade, in accordance with the rules of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses.
- Providing a facility that allows its residents to go about their business securely and safely, in which all the necessary business services and facilities are available.
- Providing a judicial system that enables the fair and rapid adjudication of disputes among members and others.
- Serving as an information resource about the diamond, colored gemstone, pearls, precious metals, jewelry industries.
- Cooperating with government institutions, international and regional bodies, industry associations, corporations and individuals, with the goal of advancing the interests of the diamond, colored gemstone, pearls, precious metals, jewelry and related industries in Latin America and internationally.
